A NUON version of the classic Snake game where you run around, grabbing dots while trying to avoid running into walls and yourself as you grow with each dot eaten. Features a two player mode, high scores, and in-game music.

Snake for NUON by Chad Tindle aka BeefMan chadt@bardstown.com 8/27/02 1:15AM EST This is a game that most of you know as Nibbles in DOS and later as Snake on the Nokia cell phones. This is my first real attempt at a game and it seemed like the simplest type to try and implement for NUON. I used what free time was available to me during the summer between work and summer courses so this game probably took around 2-3 months of on and off again coding. It probably would have taken much longer if it weren't for help from Scott Cartier and others from the nuon-dome.com dev forum. In its current state the game is not entirely finished. You will probably notice the game is a bit blurry but this should be taken care of in later revisions. I also hope to add more options and gameplay features as well as backgrounds and maze type levels for single player. Also for you IR remote users I should have support for that in as little as a week. I would like to personally thank all involved and would love to hear comments and suggestions. Burning tips: Drag the NUON.CD file into the root directory of an unnamed ISO9660 compliant CDR or CD/RW. Burn in TAO (track at once) mode and close/finalize the disc. For assistance with burning NUON.CD files to CD-R, please read the guide.
