An emulator of the Atari 800 computer, with an image of the game "MULE" included. Currently there is no sound and the emulation is quite slow, but could be improved with some tweaking. Programmed by Mark Manyen.

Tips for getting the emulator up and running: Pushing both L & R together does a cold reboot. START is the Start key. C-Left is the Option key. C-Right is the Select key. I had to hold C-Left during boot to get the game to load. Otherwise you get a "Remove Cartridge" message. Notes from the developer: Here is the current state: - The Atari emulator works great, sans sound. - All NUON specific code to operate the graphics and joysticks is present and working. - The emulation is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! - MPE 1 is totally free for speedups - ROMS and Disk Images emulated from RAM, compiled into the code. Here is what needs to be done: - Add Sound - SPEED up the emulation. - A slick user interface to set up the Atari and Disk images. - MPE2 can be freed up if the M3DL code is replaced with mml2D code running on MPE3. I suggest freeing MPE2 and using MPE1 as the 6502 and MPE2 as the ANTIC and POKEY chips. Syncing this interaction will be a &*&#@! Burning tips: Drag the NUON.CD file into the root directory of an unnamed ISO9660 compliant CDR or CD/RW. Burn in TAO (track at once) mode and close/finalize the disc. For assistance with burning NUON.CD files to CD-R, please read the guide.
